About Us

Lux Darkroom is a photographic printing studio, gallery, and publisher in Camden. We are London’s leading specialists in historical photographic processes including photogravure, platinum-palladium, cyanotype, salt printing, and silver gelatin. We provide a bespoke printing and editioning service, offer workshops and private tuition, and showcase exceptional analogue photographic work in our gallery space.
Our mission is to promote the appreciation of early photographic processes by creating beautiful, museum-quality prints with the highest standards of craftsmanship, enabling our students to master their chosen process, and supporting the creation and promotion of exceptional work through our gallery and publishing initiatives.
